Taken Yesterday 15th May) at Bolton Abbey. Only had the 100mm with me but surprisingly the Doe seemed quite happy to chew on the wild garlic about 30 yards from the path. Still a bit of a crop though.

Whilst walking back to the car with Derek along the lovely River Swale from Keld back to Muker in Yorkshire yesterday, we came across two pheasants fighting on the other side of the river bank.  Reaching for my Canon 55-250mm lens, I spent a few minutes shooting these birds whilst they ducked and dived and occasionally jumped up and down on each other.
 
This shot is the one that for me best encapsulates the ensuing battle of the birds.
