Hi Mark, and welcome to the forum.

As discussed, forum membership will be extended after September once you have signed up to be a full member.

Have a look at the forum rules and get a-postin'.

Hi Mark welcome, good to have you here.

Paul, the regulations mean he will get full membership after he pays his membership fee. It also means he can use the forum until the third meeting of the new season, at which point he'll have to have joined the club to continue to participate in the forum.

I meant being in a room on licensed premises under the age of 18 Andrew, as he won't be dining/having food, and there is no area away from the bar in the room for people not 18. Would Mark be legally allowed to use the premises, even if he is not drinking?

(Sorry Mark, best we find out now to avoid embarrassment!)

Oh gosh! I don't know the answer to that one.

Having said that, Chorley PS have children at St Gregory's Parish and the venue has a bar. And there have been children at the various gigs I have played/attended with Sambafriq. I assume it should be okay...

Welcome to the forum Mark and I look forward to meeting you in person soon. I've seen some of your work on Facebook and TP so I know we've got another talented photographer on the way.

I need to go to the con club to book the room for the new season so I'll ask Steve what their rules are on having under 18's at the club for nights like ours. I'm assuming there won't be a problem at all but it will be nice to know for certain before we take any membership money off you.

Welcome to the forum Mark!
I'm sure you'll be okay in the club room - I seem to remember it's okay if you're over 14, not drinking, not sat at the bar and with a responsible adult....hmmm  might have trouble with that last point!
Looking forward to seeing some of your photos.

Hi Mark - welcome ot the club. I'm the one who drove you to the lighthouse but not the one responsible for you getting mud up to your armpits!!
Next time we meet I have couple of small CF cards for you!
Rob, I think Sally is right about Mark and not sitting at the bar> but I also think that the regulations are different for us as we are a private hire, rather than members of the con club. But i'm sure Steve will advise appropriately.
