Summary
Preston Photographic Society (PPS) won with 381 points, 5 clear of Leyland and 17 clear of Chorley.
Chorley’s Robin Price had the best scoring image with Vulture Dispute, Angela Kershaw from PPS was second with ‘Mini-mad professor’ and Alf Myers from PPS was third with ‘Muddy pursuits;’.
The judge was Terry Donnelly who, as usual, provided a very insightful commentary on the images submitted and provided much food for thought going forward.

Competition
An ’Open’ competition with nature restrictions not applied. No more than 3 images from any author and all images cannot have been used before in a previous 3 way battle.
24 PDI’s (Projected Digital Images) from each team, each image scoring up to 20 inline with our scoring for internal competitions.

Preston Photographic Societies Images
All our images were selected by the Selection Committee and we included images from 15 different members.
We had to rule out some images as they had been used previously in this competition.
We had:
Terry is a hard but fair judge and the average image score for all 72 images on the night was circa 15.5 so the above is terrific.

We had to rule out some images as they had been used previously in this competition.
We had:
- 1 image scoring 19
- 1 image scoring 18
- 7 images scoring 17
- 7 images scoring 16
- 8 images scoring 15 or less
Terry is a hard but fair judge and the average image score for all 72 images on the night was circa 15.5 so the above is terrific.
