Summary
This Knock- out competition is a rather interesting competition and took place on Zoom on Tuesday 27 February in Ribblesdale. There were a total of 100 images from 10 clubs from the ICPA entered.
The Final Result
We came second place (PPS) with 2 of the top three images.
Competition
Knockout over 8 rounds
- Clubs submit 11 images with the last one being a tiebreaker, only to be used if there is a tie for 1st place.
- Round 1 is a run through of the images with no images being knocked out.
- Images eliminated in Round 2 score 2, Round 3 score 3 and so on. A winner was selected from Round 8, which was the last 4 images, and scored 9 points.

Results
It's now getting into the final stages and into round four where we still have five images left.
- In round one, all our images got through.
- In round two scoring (12), we lost Mike's image of a Buzzard, Tim's Sand Racer, and Dave's Barn Owl.
- In Round Three (13) we lost Karen's Mum and Cignet and Robert's Portrait of a Falcon.
It's now getting into the final stages and into round four where we still have five images left.
- In this round (14) we lost Luke's Light amongst the Darkness and Mick's The Boys.
- Into Round Five (15), we still had three images left and we didn't lose any images so these are now in the shake-up for the awards.
- Tim's Great Grey Owl got a Highly Commended 17
- Iain's Racing in the Rain came 3rd
- Helen's MAAT came 1st
- 1st Chorley 152 points
- 2nd PPS 145 points
- 3rd Ribbledale 137 points.
