The event celebrated the city's serving soldiers, thier families, and Preston's connection with the armed forces.
Starting at the Cenotaph, Veterans, their families and friends were in position to march onto the Flag Market, signalled by Bill Barlow.
The day was followed by a short service, readings and an address by the president, Colonel Waters.
